Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for admission to all management programmes in AICTE approved institutions. CMAT is an online Computer-based test.
CMAT notification is released by www.aicte-cmat.in for admission to MBA and PGDM level management programmes in AICTE approved institutions. It is a National level Common Management Admission Test to test the eligibility of candidates for admission in all management programmes.
First edition of CMAT is conducted in 2012. There are about 4 lakh seats in the AICTE approved institutes for management programmes in India. CMAT is launched by AICTE to reduce the burden of students in attending to multiple entrance examinations for admission to management programmes.
Aspiring candidates are asked to appear in CMAT to be eligible for admission in AICTE approved institutes. They are asked to make an online registration through: www.aicte-cmat.in with the required information.
Payment information and Application Form filling procedure for CMAT are also updated through www.aicte-cmat.in along with other necessary information. CMAT is open for all graduate students or final year students of graduate courses in any discipline. CMAT is conducted in various cities in India.
